Former Wyatt Sicks Trio to Challenge Gangrel and The Righteous for the Boca Raton Championship Wrestling Six-Man Tag Team Championship

The wait is over. After teasing the match on Monday, BRCW can confirm that Gangrel and The Righteous will defend the BRCW Six-Man Tag Team Championship against Erick Redbeard, Sam Shaw and Joseph Sawyer at Cruisin’ For A Bruisin’ 4.

All three challengers are former members of The Wyatt Sicks, the WWE faction that ran from June 2024 until it disbanded in April 2026. The trio have worked the independent circuit separately since, and will reunite for the very first time as a unit in Miami.

Erick Redbeard is the one with the deepest history. Competing as Erick Rowan, he was introduced in 2012 as part of the original Wyatt Family alongside Bray Wyatt and Luke Harper, a group that went on to become one of the defining acts of its era. He is a former NXT Tag Team Champion and a two-time WWE SmackDown Tag Team Champion. At 6 foot 8 and a billed 315 pounds, he is the biggest man in this match by a distance.

Joseph Sawyer arrives in Miami carrying a world title. He won the GCW World Championship on August 15, ending a reign that had lasted more than eight months. He is also a former WWE Tag Team Champion.

Sam Shaw holds that same WWE Tag Team Championship honour, and he won it alongside Sawyer. A Jacksonville native, Shaw comes home to Florida for this one. He won TNA’s Gut Check competition in 2012 and spent three years on that roster before moving on.

Standing across from them are the champions. Gangrel and The Righteous, the team of Dutch and Vincent, last stepped into a BRCW ring at Summer Smash on August 16, where they beat The Kings Court at The Studio at Mizner Park. Three of the most recognisable figures in dark, character-driven wrestling now defend against three more.
